The 36th Senate District
The 36th Senate District takes in the southern portion of Riverside
County and the Eastern half of San Diego County.
The Eastern San Diego City suburbs provides the biggest population
center, followed by the cities of El Cajon, Temecula, Santee, La Mesa,
Poway, Murrieta, and Fallbrook.
Current registration in the 36th Senate District is 49.8% Republican
to 27.4% Democratic.
Conservative Republican Dennis Hollingsworth
is widely considered a perfect fit for the 36th's Republican voters.
